New House

Finally, some photos of our new place!
We are loving life in our new home. We've been here a month, and the novelty has not worn off. It feels like home, which is a feeling we hadn't had for two years, so we are in heaven. And we can see their school from the upstairs back window, and I can hear the kids out for play when I'm in the back garden. Love it. I also love not feeling like I live in a cave. Narrow, Victorian row houses are not for me.

The front "reception" room

View into kitchen, from reception room. Most houses don't have dining rooms, but have the big table in the kitchen.

View into kitchen from front hall.

Ta-da, an actual kitchen! Love the chandelier and to the left (out of view) is an AMERICAN SIZED FRIDGE!

View from kitchen into the "conservatory" ie sunroom/playroom.

The back garden! Complete with fake grass and a two story playhouse (on right).

View back into playroom toward kitchen (where you can see part of my fridge!)

And some previously written text, new house related:
We moved to a new house last week and the new place is heaven. The move itself was not – Euge and I separately described moving is like childbirth - you forget the reality. however, we LOVE our new place. heaven. can't say enough about how great it is - the living space downstairs, the basement laundry room, the small yard (with fake grass) and the two story wooden play house, plus the fact that we see sky sky sky out the back and really no direct view to a house (unless we look back at ours and see all of our neighbors) AND it is a two minute around the block walk to school. The only bad thing about this is hat means I’m not getting the exercise I used to of 20 min there and back twice a day (ie 1 hour and 20 minutes of walking)!

What a beautiful home! I was just showing Ryan pictures of it and pointed out the fake grass... his comment: "Sign me up." Miss you!

Fantastic new home--so big! What's the upstairs like? How about the front? I'd love to see pictures of all of it so get busy. :)
