I've been depriving you all of our sweet yummy Libby. She is ELEVEN months old today (when I started writing this on Friday, 16th). She is so damn cute. Maybe because she's my last, I've turned into one of those moms who needs to tell everyone about what the latest cutest or cleverest thing her kid did! So, here is the download:
She's been walking steadily for about a month now, first steps at 9.5 months. Yesterday, she got her first pair of proper shoes that she can wear outside! She was so proud of herself - I let her out of her stroller and let her walk on the sidewalk. She was squealing with joy, arms straight out in front of her, doing high steps down the road. It was so fun to watch.
She has six teeth. She loves to try and feed herself with fork and spoon. Her first word was "woof." She understands "eat, drink (and be merry- no, just kidding), and out"
She goes wee on the potty before she takes a bath (well, about half the time).
She is very snuggly. She adores her music class and is very verbal and opens and closes her hand in twinkle, twinkle little star.
She loves doggies, airplanes and other kids. She actually interacts with other babies her age - chatting and chasing after each other - too cute. No parallel play going on there!

Oh Vanessa! She is just adorable. How on earth did she get so big so fast?? She reminds me a lot of Mia when I first joined LLL.

What an incredibly cute kid! I can't believe she's walking and, um, IRONING. Seriously? We should all put our kids to work so soon. Maybe we'd get something done around here. I'm so glad to hear you're alive and doing ok. Would love an update on everyone soon. Miss you!

And impressed with the ironing...mostly because she has to be imitating someone and my kids wouldn't know what to do with a play iron because they've never seen a real one.
