Lots to report and lots of photos to share! The girls have FINALLY gone back to school yesterday after FOUR weeks off. So now I hope to catch up on this and a thousand other things, um, like Libby's birth announcements and thank yous!
We had a lovely Christmas, spent out in the country a mile from the beach, at the 300 yr old cottage we've rented a few times before. The weather was nice and cold and dry and a great time was had by all. I had been sad earlier in December while decorating for Christmas because we weren't going to be with family this year, but thankfully Euge's best friend Markus (best man in our wedding) was back from his year of traveling in India so we were lucky to have him for Christmas. It really made it fun and staved off any sad/missing our families feelings. Plus the girls love him and he was a HUGE help cleaning up after Eugene's delicious culinary work as I was occupied with Libby.

I am completely in awe of Chloe's homemade creche. Fantastic!!! Watch me around the sheep...I stole one from our church's manger scene when I was 4. They had three of them, so I figured they wouldn't miss one.
Yes, I did steal from church, Chloe. I grew up, though! Now I just steal candy from the kids. Um, that's not actually a joke. :)
