OK, let me start by saying the weather here is HORRID this winter. It rains so often for hours and hours and sometimes days on end and it is COLD rain. And when it's not raining, its still grey, gray, grey. You just don't get enough sun here, and I'm considering a sun lamp to get my vitamin D. Anyway, you may be confused when you see my photos and say, "but it's so blue or sunny in most of your photos!" Well folks that's because I don't TAKE photos in the rain. Gray and rain doesn't inspire me to capture the moment. The blue is so so so so so special, you have to capture it!
We decided we needed to get away for the night on New Year's Day and so drove to Hampshire to the New Forest, where the ponies are wild and run free. It's not new (William the Conqueror hunted there) and it's not a forest, but it was nice to get out.
